Dr. Stacey’s artistic philosophy is deeply rooted in her personal journey with alexithymia, a condition that once obscured her ability to articulate her emotions. Through her art, she has found a powerful outlet for self-expression, using digital tools such as photography, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate and generative AI to create vibrant compositions. She often employs techniques like digital painting, photo manipulation, and layering to achieve the desired emotional depth and visual impact in her work.

Ashley’s work combines mixed media techniques to explore themes of transformation and self-expression. She often uses layering, ripping, and intricate detailing to symbolize the complexity of personal growth.
