MY ELECTRIC BLUES – ART PRINT
To be human is to be, at times, a walking contradiction, and My Electric Blues perfectly captures this condition. Orange and blue aren’t just complementary colors on the color wheel – they contrast each other in what they represent and how they make us feel. Excitement at beginning a new chapter in our lives won’t remove the anxiety we feel at walking a new path. These are the two emotions the artist has drawn inspiration from to guide the construction of this piece.
Digital oil, chalk pastel, and ink painting techniques were used by artist Stacey Denise to transform this original plant photograph into a flora fantasy that now appears steeped in blue flames.
