The power of the human mind to fool the senses is never more potent than in dreams. In those moments, our brains can invoke any emotion, conjure strange faces, and create worlds. What does an animal dream of, so far removed from the complexity of the human mind? Does a leopard simply chase prey and conquer enemies, or does he, in moments of lucidity, take charge of his destiny and begin to fly.
Inspired by the countless worlds created as the mind rests, Lucid Leopard Dreams uses digital oil, chalk pastel, and ink painting techniques from artist STACEY DENISE, the color whisperer, along with a tetradic color scheme to craft a hypnotic vision of wildlife steeped in magenta hues, orange tints, green shades, and cyan tones.
